Federal Data Corporation Awarded National Center for Toxicological Research Information Technology and Scientific Programming Contract

Federal Data Corporation (FDC) today announced that the company's Health Systems Sector (d/b/a R.O.W. Sciences) has been awarded a 5-year, $19.5 million dollar task by the Food and Drug Administration's National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR) to provide Scientific Computing and Information Technology Support.

The contract was awarded under the FDA SISTIR contract for which FDC is a subcontractor to TRW.

NCTR, one of the preeminent biomedical research organizations in the world, conducts fundamental and applied research to define the underlying causes for the toxicity of products regulated by the FDA. FDC's role is to support the Center's strategic goals by providing a wide range of information technology and scientific computing services.
