Business Wire, March 10, 1999
TEL AVIV, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 10, 1999--RADLAN Computer Communications (www.radlan.co.il) today announced its strategic decision to open a new channel for Intellectual Property offering ASIC and software components for LAN networking solutions. With this move, RADLAN is the first company experienced in systems to offer intellectual property products for Layers 3 and higher.
Founded in 1998, RADLAN is a spin-off of RND Networks with a rich heritage of more than 10 years' experience in routing technologies. The company's extensive knowledge and ability is demonstrated in the numerous awards received from distinguished trade press honoring both its technology and products.
"With our advanced technologies in both routing software and ASIC routing engines, requests for RADLAN to tailor or integrate its core technologies within a partner's networking solution have been escalating,... be it as a design center, a component provider or in joint development projects", said Jacob Zankel, President of RADLAN. "Being an IP company with our systems know-how enables RADLAN's partners to design and sell competitive, cost-effective products with the best time to market", added Zankel.
Today's competitive solutions are either software- or hardware-based.
