Rainbow Technologies' iKey Model m2 Now Available With Secure Digital Certificate Storage and 1024-Bit RSA Support

(Nasdaq:RNBO) a leading provider of high-performance security solutions for the Internet and E-Commerce, today announced that digital certificate storage and 1024-bit RSA support through PKCS Number 11 are available with Model m2 of the iKey, a USB (Universal Serial Bus)-based cryptographic authentication token.

The new model allows users to sign, verify and securely store up to four digital certificates, providing an additional level of verification when accessing data over the Internet.

This solution is well suited for companies looking to deploy a low cost hardware-based authentication token to supplement or replace existing password-based schemes.
