Business Wire, March 16, 1999
Harrison, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 16, 1999--Laser Master International Inc. (OTC BB:LMTI) has filed on March 15, 1999, its Form 10-KSB with the Securities and Exchange Commission for the fiscal year ended Nov. 30, 1998.
Revenues reached $14,049,749 as compared to $12,007,663 in 1997 which represented an increase of 17%. There was a net profit of $563,438 or .05 per share compared to a net loss in the previous year of $573,484 or .06 loss per share. There were 10,615,380 weighted average number of common shares outstanding in 1998 as compared to 10,494,990 in the previous year.
In making the announcement, Mendel Klein, chief executive officer, attributed the turnaround to the fact that the company's multi-functional, high speed 8 color press worked properly for most of the year. The press is currently operating very well and helping the company enter new markets. This press has allowed the company to greatly increase its capacity and to print at least twice as fast as it did with its 6 color presses. Management anticipates that sales during the current fiscal year ending Nov. 30, 1999, should be higher than in 1998 provided the press continues to operate properly.
Laser Master International uses a computerized laser system for industrial and commercial printing and engraving. It provides a comprehensive array of computerized design, pre-press and flexographic printing services and products for the packaging, apparel and home furnishing markets.
