Dell Precision WorkStations Bring Exceptional Performance With New Pentium III Xeon Processors; 500MHz Pentium III Xeon Now Available From a Workstation Market Leader

ROUND ROCK, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 17, 1999--Dell Computer Corporation (NASDAQ:DELL), the world's leading direct computer systems company, today announced availability of the new Intel(R) Pentium(R) III Xeon(tm) processor in Dell Precision(tm) WorkStations.
The Dell Precision WorkStation 610 is now available with the new 500MHz Pentium III Xeon processor in single- and dual-processor configurations. Dell will also offer the 550MHz Pentium III Xeon processor in Dell Precision WorkStations upon general availability.
