Sutron Receives ISO-9001 Certification

STERLING, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 17, 1999--Sutron Corp., a leading manufacturer of environmental monitoring and control systems, has been granted "Registered Firm" status under I.S. EN ISO 9001 certification by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI).
The ISO-9001 certification process is governed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a worldwide federation of national standards bodies.
The ISO-9001 Quality-Systems Standards, provides a Model for Quality Assurance in Design, Development, Production, Installation and Servicing. Sutron has demonstrated complete compliance with these standards through a very rigorous audit performed by NSAI, an international organization that performs these audits to insure that all of the ISO-9001 requirements and standards are met.
Sutron, having been certified, will be recognized throughout the world as meeting the ISO-9001 standards for quality of the Design, Development, Production, Installation and Servicing of all Sutron's hardware and software products, and related services.
