Metallica Resources Now Quoted On Nasdaq's OTC Bulletin Board

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 18, 1999--Metallica Resources Inc. (TSE: MR)(NASDAQ OTC BB: METLF) began trading today on the Nasdaq OTC Bulletin Board System under the symbol "METLF."
Previously Metallica had been listed on the Nasdaq SmallCap Market. For the past six months Metallica's share price has not maintained a minimum bid price of US$1.00 in accordance with a recently implemented Nasdaq rule. Metallica is in compliance with all the other applicable Nasdaq listing criteria and remains a reporting company under U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission rules.
Metallica Resources continues to trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange (symbol: MR).
