Business Wire, March 30, 1999
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 30, 1999-- AllnetServices.com Corp. (OTC BB:ANSC)(formerly AWEB) and Telecom Corp. of Chicago, a wholly owned subsidiary of Officeland Inc. (Nasdaq:OFLD) (Nasdaq:OFLDU) announced today the signing of a new agreement with America Online (NYSE:AOL) for a listing in the "More Stores" area in the 'Office Products & Services' department of AOL's Shopping Channel. The agreement will promote allcopiers.com, which was formed in February through a joint venture between Telecom and AllnetServices.com Corp. Allnet designed the allcopiers.com site as part of a revenue-sharing agreement with Telecom and will continue to host and maintain it. Allcopiers.com will also have a presence in the AOL.com and CompuServe shopping areas. The agreement with AOL comes a week after Allnet announced it had signed an agreement with America Online for a listing in the "More Stores" area in the 'Computing Products' department of AOL's Shopping Channel for its site allnetdirect.com.
Marvyn Budd, president of Officeland, stated "We felt the AOL Shopping Channel was the perfect vehicle to drive more Internet shoppers and bargain hunters to our new Allcopiers.com Internet superstore. The partnership with Allnetservices.com to host and maintain the web site allows us to concentrate on what Telecom does best-remanufacture, refurbish and re-market brand name office automation equipment for the home and office."
