The jBusiness-ColdFusion integration enables Web and IT application developers to quickly create and deploy new ColdFusion applications that integrate enterprise information for competitive advantage.

For example, to build an order entry application, a developer would use jBusiness to combine customer data with inventory information and create a business object. The business object would then be accessible to the order entry Web application built by ColdFusion, presenting a customer with information on order status and availability. Once created and deployed, business objects can be accessed, shared and reused by multiple Web applications. Application developers can leverage the jBusiness Application Management Server to extend and centrally manage applications and enterprise business objects.
