The online entertainment retailer today announced the launch of its video game catalog on www.twec.com - The Web's Entertainment Center. The site now offers 8,000 games for Sony(R) PlayStation(TM), Nintendo(R) 64, Gameboy(TM), Gameboy Color and Sega(R) Genesis(TM) in addition to its 300,000 music and movie titles.
"With the launch of our video game catalog, we again demonstrate our commitment to offer consumers the most comprehensive entertainment selection available online," said Bill Tynan, general manager of e-commerce, Trans World Entertainment. "Our vast assortment of music, movies and games goes far beyond what can be found in any store, giving our customers the opportunity to do all of their entertainment shopping in one place."
Featured titles in twec.com's video game catalog include such popular titles as Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, WCW/NWO Thunder and Metal Gear Solid. A number of sales and promotions are in the works, including an April "Games for a Rainy Day" sale.
