Business Wire, March 8, 1999

OREM, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 1999--

New version of Synchronicity(tm) dramatically reduces network

administration tasks by streamlining user and group account and password management. Synchronicity 2 also increases user productivity

with single sign-on capability for Notes

NetVision, Inc., a leading provider of network directory synchronization solutions, today announced the availability of Synchronicity 2. Synchronicity is the only non-intrusive solution that automatically synchronizes account and password information for multi-vendor networks. The Synchronicity 2 family of products includes Synchronicity for NT, Synchronicity for Exchange, Synchronicity for Notes, and Synchronicity for NetWare 3.

Synchronicity 2 now supports Pure IP, IPX-only, as well as mixed protocol environments. This flexibility allows administrators to implement a Synchronicity solution without re-engineering their network infrastructure. Synchronicity 2 provides a streamlined synchronization process by utilizing a single Windows NT service process.

Significant enhancements to Synchronicity for Notes, including single sign-on and naming resolution, will ease administration of mixed environments that include Lotus Notes. "Our Notes customers have been struggling with password issues and naming conflicts in their multi-vendor environments," said Todd Lawson, NetVision President. "With Synchronicity 2's new single sign-on and naming resolution capabilities, these issues are eliminated and our customers' jobs are easier and less error-prone." Synchronicity 2 also resolves object-naming conflicts on all supported platforms.
