IN-SPORTS INTERNATIONAL INC. Makes Announcement

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 9, 1999--IN-SPORTS INTERNATIONAL, INC. (OTC BB: IRTN) announced today that Joseph Lombardi has Joined the Company as director of sales and marketing of its athletic surfaces division, the PERMA GRASS CORPORATION.

Joseph Lombardi, better known as Vince Lombardi's "kid brother" is currently executive director of The National Football Foundation College Hall of Fame, which grants scholarships each year to exceptional high school student athletes. Lombardi has built a database of high schools and colleges throughout the country and has completed several synthetic grass athletic fields in New Jersey.

Patrick McLaren, President/CEO of IRTN announced in addition, the company has acquired the Ed-Car Construction Company, a fully accredited and qualified bidder currently in good standing with the states of New York and New Jersey, as a wholly owned subsidiary.

Ed-Car Construction Company's primary function shall be to provide IN-SPORTS INTERNATIONAL, INC. as its "bidding agent" with the necessary Performance Bond required in order to be awarded special projects that previously were not available for IN-SPORTS INTERNATIONAL, INC.

Patrick McLaren stated that PERMA GRASS is a product of the future, which combines the finest safety and durability features in the athletic surfaces industry, Lombardi's experience and reputation will prove invaluable to the growth and expansion of IRTN.

Patrick McLaren and Joe Lombardi both believe that the day will come when every high school in America will have a synthetic grass field. The time has come to protect young growing bodies from serious injury both in football and soccer.
