LSI Communications Signs Letter of Intent To Acquire Coaching Institute; World Leader in Coaching is Perfect Compliment to Technology

DRAPER, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 9, 1999--LSI Communications, Inc. (OTC BB:LSIM) announced today the signing of a letter of intent to acquire Coaching Institute Inc. of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Coaching Institute is one of the nation's leaders in professional coaching and is growing at a phenomenal rate. Sales increased 39.8% from the third quarter of 1998 to the fourth quarter of 1998.

Coaching is an extremely effective method of improving business and personal performance. Although a relatively new industry, coaching has been featured in popular magazines such as Nation's Business, Business 98, Upline, Cutting Edge, and Inc.
