Business Wire, May 21, 1999

WORCESTER, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 21, 1999--

Sales OnLine Direct, Inc. (OTC BB:PAID), announced today that it is now offering the collectibles community the opportunity to post classified ads containing a photo of the item on its World Wide Collectors Digest (WWCD) E-Commerce Website.

The new classified advertising system will enable collectible sellers, buyers and traders to post a classified ad on WWCD's web site at, www.wwcd.com, one of the busiest collectible sites on the Internet, hosting over 600,000 unique visitors last month. This is a substantial increase from the prior month, 460,000 unique visitors.

Classifieds, which include a brief description of the item and a hot link to a full color image, are grouped into four categories; buyers, sellers, traders and business, and three priority levels, Gold, Silver and Bronze.

The initial postings are free depending upon the category and level of the classified ad. For buyers, the first four bronze ads are free, silver is priced at $1 and gold costs $2. For sellers and traders, the first two bronze ads are free, silver and gold are priced at $1 and $2 respectively. Business classifieds, defined as those that are not specific in product and price or are service-oriented, are priced at $2 for bronze, $3 for silver and $5 for gold. Ads are posted in priority order of gold, silver and bronze.

The company feels that this new classified area adds depth to our community and offers another choice for our users over traditional auction formats like; K-Tel International Inc. (Nasdaq:KTEL), Amazon.com Inc. (Nasdaq:AMZN), eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY), Ubid Inc. (Nasdaq:UBID), Excite Auction (Nasdaq:XCIT), and Yahoo Auction (Nasdaq:YHOO), theglobe.com (Nasdaq:TGLO), Greg Manning (Nasdaq:GMAI) and Onsale Inc. (NASDAQ:ONSL).

"Classifieds provide inexpensive access for collectible buyers, sellers and traders to the Internet marketplace," said Marc Stengel, Vice President of Sales On-Line Direct. "Sales On-Line Direct is now taking another progressive step by adding the photo hot link, at no additional cost, which will facilitate the sales/trade transaction on our World Wide Collectors Digest web site."
