U.S. Concrete Inc. Announces Completion of Initial Public Offering of 3,800,000 Shares of Common Stock

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 26, 1999--
U.S. Concrete Inc. (Nasdaq:RMIX) today announced that it has completed the initial public offering of its common stock, which is quoted on the Nasdaq National Market under the symbol RMIX. The initial public offering price for the 3,800,000 shares, all of which were offered by the Company, was $8.00 per share.
The offering is being managed by Scott & Stringfellow Inc. and Sanders Morris Mundy Inc. The closing is scheduled for May 28, 1999. The Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 570,000 additional shares to cover over-allotments, if any. Net proceeds to the Company are being used to finance acquisitions being consummated concurrently with the offering.
