Dow Jones Interactive Plans Joint Effort With Fuld & Company to Create Competitive Intelligence Resources

PRINCETON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 29, 1999--

Dow Jones & Company announced today plans to develop a program with Fuld & Company, a leading competitive intelligence consulting firm, to create ground-breaking competitive intelligence resources that will help Dow Jones Interactive subscribers leverage business information to build competitive advantage. Iron Horse Multimedia, an electronic publisher of interactive competitive intelligence training programs, is expected to contribute Web-based training modules on competitive intelligence.

Plans call for Fuld & Company and Iron Horse Multimedia to create and contribute content to a new dedicated competitive intelligence area of Dow Jones Interactive - to be launched later this year.

Some of the features include:

-- Training modules created by Iron Horse to provide instruction on

the fundamentals of competitive intelligence analysis, including

setting up projects, improving research techniques, and

conducting global intelligence.

-- Regular columns and industry overviews on competitive

intelligence by Fuld industry practice managers, prepared

exclusively for Dow Jones Interactive, will cover competitive

intelligence issues pertinent to customers.

-- Special tips and indexing topics for competitive intelligence

will help customers quickly find targeted information, such as

competitors' pricing and cost structure.
