The Bank of Nashville Opens New Office in Hendersonville, Tennessee

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 4, 1999--
The Bank of Nashville, a subsidiary of Community Financial Group, Inc., (NASDAQ: CFGI) today announced the opening of its new office in Hendersonville.
Bank officers, directors and city leaders commemorated the opening of the new office, located at 100 Maple Drive North with an innovative ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring a wreath of 500 $1 bills. The wreath was cut from a ribbon stretching across the doors of the new office and donated to Clark Flatt, president of The Jason Foundation--a Hendersonville-based international organization dedicated to preventing teen suicides.

"This ribbon-cutting ceremony is meant to symbolize, in a very tangible way, The Bank of Nashville's commitment to being a real part of the Hendersonville community--not only by offering superior banking services, but also by contributing our time, talents and resources to the betterment of our new home," said Sumner county resident and The Bank of Nashville vice president Ervin Buchanan, who will manage the office.
To celebrate The Bank's new Internet-based banking service, Bank-on-Line, The Bank is sponsoring a sweepstakes drawing for a new personal computer. Registration blanks are available at all offices and the drawing is open to customers and non-customers alike throughout the month of May, with no purchase necessary.
The new 4,000 square-foot-office, the first branch constructed and owned by The Bank of Nashville, features an exterior of brick with stone accents. Amenities include drive-up-lanes, an ATM and an interior designed to facilitate easy interaction between customers and staff--a hallmark of all of The Bank's lobbies.
