SPECTRUM Invests in Education and Internet-2 Research; Sponsors National Scholarship Program Supporting Next-Generation Network Management and Internet Technologies

DURHAM, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 1999--

Students receiving SPECTRUM scholarships will explore cutting-edge topics in network and enterprise management, including Internet-2, advanced Quality of Service and software aging. Students were selected from several universities renowned for their advancement of information technologies, including Duke University, North Carolina State University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Georgia Institute of Technology, California State University and the University of New Hampshire. The scholarships are effective through the 1999-2000 academic year.

Professor Subramanian is among the recipients of the SPECTRUM Scholarship Program and is currently involved in establishing a network management program at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
