Auto Club Opens New Office in Encinitas

ENCINITAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 17, 1999--
The Automobile Club of Southern California has opened a new office in Encinitas to provide AAA services to more than 33,000 Auto Club members.
The 8,600 square-foot office at 499 North El Camino Real, Suite A-100, will serve the North San Diego County communities of Encinitas, Carlsbad, Cardiff, Fairbanks Ranch, Olivenhain, Rancho Santa Fe and La Costa.
The new office includes a full-service AAA Travel Agency. Auto Club members and the public can use the travel agency to plan tours and cruises, make worldwide and domestic airline reservations, book hotels and car rentals and obtain rail tickets and travelers' checks.
International travel services include passport, visa and customs information, low-cost passport photos, International Driving Permits and Mexico automobile insurance.
"The opening of the Encinitas office is part of the Auto Club's continuing commitment to deliver quality services and products to its members," said Kathy Porter, Encinitas district manager.
"We've equipped the office with the latest in computer technology that allows us to serve members efficiently while keeping membership dues and insurance premiums down. My staff and I are dedicated to providing convenient, personalized, world-class service to members and the community."
The Encinitas office also features a full-service sales department providing auto, watercraft, homeowners, renters and life insurance services, as well as new services such as mobile home, small business, collector car and rental/vacation home insurance.

Other services offered include financial services (vehicle financing, personal, home equity and student loans, credit card applications, savings and checking accounts), vehicle purchasing services and DMV transactions such as vehicle and vessel registration renewals and used vehicle transfers.
