``Garth Brooks & the Magic of Christmas'' Is New Holiday Television Special From dick clark productions

BURBANK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 1999--
dick clark productions inc. (Nasdaq:DCPI) will produce the television special, "Garth Brooks & the Magic of Christmas," for broadcast on NBC on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. (Eastern).
Hosted by Garth Brooks, the show will feature special guests Tony Bennett, Natalie Cole and Trisha Yearwood, among other star performers.
"Garth Brooks & the Magic of Christmas" will include segments taped at varied locations in New York City, including the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Plaza and the skating rink at Central Park.
Dick Clark is executive producer, with R.A. Clark and Barry Adelman as producers, Ron Weed as co-producer, and Barry Adelman as writer. Francis C. La Maina is executive in charge.
