MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 19, 1999--
SynXis Corporation, a leading developer of Web- based eCommerce and software solutions, along with Bell Atlantic, received the Yellow Pages Publishers Association's (YPPA) annual APPY Bronze Award for Process Innovation for the development of online billing and electronic tear pages.
SynXis eBill(TM), the first online billing and tear page application, offers a streamlined, graphic and highly efficient solution to directory billing. SynXis eBill(TM) includes on screen "real" tear pages and invoices presented in a YPPA-approved format.
Through eBill(TM), advertising customers have immediate access to billing detail, tear pages and analytical tools. Benefits to publishers using eBill(TM) include significant savings in collation, directory replacement, and bill printing and distribution.
The APPY Awards recognize member excellence in a variety of Yellow Pages disciplines. The 1999 awards focused on moving the industry toward its collective goals of increasing market share, advertisers and usage. The Awards were presented at YPPA's annual conference recently held in Denver, Colorado.
