Quik Pix Inc. — Quality Photographic Imaging Implements Complete Facility Upgrade Program at Headquarters in Orange County, Calif., in Response to Increased Product Demand
Business Wire, Nov 23, 1999
BUENA PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 22, 1999--
Quality Photographic Imaging (OTC BB:QPIX) (QPI) Monday announced that it has implemented a complete facility upgrade program in response to increased product demand.
Included in the facility upgrade is the addition of new staff and equipment to meet the anticipated growth from the Exhibit, Advertising and Direct Promotional Markets.
QPI has traditionally been a regional player in these markets but is positioning itself to leverage its patented technology for expansion into Europe and Asia. This facility upgrade should not affect QPI's regional business.
"QPI's upgraded facility has been designed conceptually with a vision for lab replication. We have refined our processes and leveraged our patented technology to enable this system to be licensed," said John Capie, QPI president.
"This is the first phase of our CY2000 strategic plan which will enable QPI to deliver a wider range of Photomotion(TM) products more efficiently to the marketplace."
QPI was issued patent number 5,782,026 in July of 1998 for its Photomotion(TM) technology and currently leases approximately 14,000 square feet in Orange County.
