Trinity Industries To Build Coal Cars for Southern Company

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 3, 1999--

Trinity Industries Inc. (NYSE:TRN) today said it has received an order to produce 625 coal cars for Southern Company Services of Birmingham, Ala.

Production of the 4,200 cubic foot aluminum Rapid Discharge V hopper cars will begin later in the year.
