Business Wire, Nov 30, 1999

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 30, 1999--

Snowball.com, the leading online media company for the Internet Generation, announced today that Snowball.com's women-focused network, ChickClick, has become one of the anchor tenants to the MSN Hotmail Women's category.

In addition, Snowball.com's PowerStudents.com network has joined the Teens/Young Adult category, and IGN.com's entertainment- and games-focused newsletter will continue to be delivered under the Entertainment & Music category in Hotmail. MSN Hotmail is the world's largest web-based email service, with over 45 million users.

Hotmail users can subscribe to a free WebCourier service, and this agreement will now include delivery of news and information from ChickClick.com, IGN.com and PowerStudents.com directly to users' Hotmail Inboxes. IGN.com's e-zine currently reaches a growing list of 2.2 million Hotmail subscribers.

Together, Snowball.com's networks and affiliates attract over 4 million unique visitors per month (according to Media Metrix), making Snowball the largest provider of content to Generation i -- the 12-29 year olds who have grown up using the Internet. By being included in the Hotmail WebCourier service, Snowball.com's network visibility and traffic will continue to rise.
