CSS Industries, Inc. Announces Organizational Changes

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 3, 1999--
CSS Industries, Inc. ("CSS") today announced the following organizational changes:
John Pinti, President and CEO of Berwick Industries LLC and The Paper Magic Group, Inc., two operating subsidiaries, has announced his decision to retire effective November 12th.
Scott Fraistat, formerly Vice President - Fall and Spring Division for The Paper Magic Group, Inc., will become President Fall and Spring Division of The Paper Magic Group, Inc. including the Halloween, Easter and Everyday lines, and will report to David J. M. Erskine, President and CEO of CSS Industries, Inc.
"These changes will allow us to put more specific focus on areas of the business that need improvement while continuing to provide the products and service that make CSS a preferred supplier meeting the seasonal needs of our customers". "We thank John for his many significant contributions over the years and wish him all the best in his retirement" said Mr. Erskine.
CSS is a consumer products company primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale to mass market retailers of seasonal, social expression products, including gift wrap, gift bags, boxed greeting cards, gift tags, tissue paper, paper and vinyl decorations, classroom exchange Valentines, decorative ribbons and bows, Halloween masks, costumes, make-ups and novelties and Easter egg dyes and novelties.
