Business Wire, Nov 4, 1999

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 4, 1999--

The Silicon Valley Daily website at http://svdaily.com is launching an exciting new e-mail newsletter with daily news reports about companies in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area.

This new e-mail newsletter is available free of charge and filled with news targeted toward high-tech business leaders in Silicon Valley. The newsletter is sent via e-mail every business day, five days a week and is only available in full-graphic HTML format. Users must have an e-mail reader capable of viewing HTML e-mail.

Each issue will contain top news stories of the day along with weekly profiles of major companies and startups in the region. Businesses can also post classified ads such as jobs, event listings and commercial real estate available for a nominal fee. Jobs posted will also run on The Silicon Valley Job Source at http://ValleyJobs.com, a sister site of SVDaily.

"Our newsletter hopes to cut through the glut of business news available on the Web every business day," says Joseph Shieh, founder and editor of SVDaily. "We hope to make the newsletter a useful resource for Silicon Valley business leaders presented in an eye-pleasing manner."

Along with reports of top Valley companies like Yahoo (Nasdaq: YHOO), Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL), Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) and Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL), SVDaily will also have news on hot startup ventures that are popping up throughout the area.

Companies can also advertise their services in each issue with banner ads and button ads. The first issue of the newsletter debuts on Thursday, November 4.
