The AMC megaplex is at the leading edge of theatre design, offering moviegoers the finest customer amenities and the most dynamic screen presentation available, along with a greater choice of films and viewing times. A megaplex is a multi-screen theatre featuring wall-to-wall screens, stadium-style seating in plush, high-backed LoveSeats(R) with retractable armrests and AMC's signature cupholders, and other special amenities to enhance the moviegoing experience.
Megaplex technology includes AMC's proprietary High Impact Theatre System (HITS), which combines wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling screens with full digital sound systems featuring Sony Dynamic Digital Sound(R) (SDDS(R)).
The AMC Forum 30 will include 30 auditoriums with a total of 5,800 LoveSeat-style seats. For extra comfort, the megaplex features extra-wide row spacing in all auditoriums and radius seating in selected auditoriums.
The megaplex concession stands will feature classic theatre fare such as grilled hot dogs, nachos, candy and, of course, hot, buttered popcorn and soft drinks. Combining new design principles with AMC's training program for food handlers, AMC's concessions eliminate long lines, setting a new standard for the industry.
The AMC Forum 30 offers the finest in customer services, including a phone-ahead reservation system; AMC's Silence is Golden(R) program, which encourages patrons to be courteous to those around them; and MovieWatcher(R), the nation's premier frequent moviegoing program that awards points toward free popcorn, soft drinks and more.
