Business Wire, Oct 1, 1999

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 1, 1999--

mp3radio.com announced today that Stacy Cantrell has been named director of content programming. The announcement was made by David Scott, vice president of operations for mp3radio.com.

In her new position, Cantrell is responsible for managing the content programming and design of mp3radio.com's network of affinity music portals on the Internet. mp3radio.com will extend local radio stations' reach at no cost to affiliates and bring consumers everything associated with their favorite music format -- from MP3 music downloads, Webcasts and shopping for CDs and tickets online -- all from a single, convenient source.

Most recently, Cantrell was corporate market planning manager for Cox Interactive Media (CIMedia) in Atlanta. She joined CIMedia in 1998 as marketing manager for GoCarolinas.com, a CIMedia city site in Charlotte, N.C. With nearly 20 years of experience in the radio industry, Cantrell's previous positions include serving as program director for both WLNK-FM, Charlotte, N.C, and KQKS-FM, Denver. She also previously served as director of operations and programming for Noble Broadcast Group-Colorado as well as QMI Radio Network, Denver. Cantrell graduated with honors from the University of Denver with degrees in mathematics with a concentration in probability and statistics, psychology, computer science, electrical engineering and business.

"Stacy is a respected radio industry veteran with outstanding content programming expertise. Her recent experience with Cox Interactive Media, coupled with her extensive broadcasting background, make her ideally suited to lead our content programming efforts -- we're thrilled to welcome her to the mp3radio.com team," said Scott.
