Byte Enterprises' TQSPlus Version 4.0 Features Three New Additions; Contact Management Program, Training Program and Interface With Freddie Mac Included
Business Wire, Oct 11, 1999
BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 11, 1999--
Byte Enterprises' latest version of its flagship product, TQSPlus(TM) 4.0, formerly known as The Qualifier Series(TM), features TQS AU-Express(TM), an automated underwriting tool and interface component, and two new programs, TQS Market Manager(TM) and Video Bytes(TM).
Byte Enterprises, Inc. is a national provider of mortgage origination software, providing seamless interfaces and automation to more than 6,400 mortgage bankers and brokers. Byte's TQSPlus streamlines the entire lending process, from pre-qualification to closing, and performs all functions, calculations and steps in the loan process.
TQS Market Manager is an integrated contact management program that links directly to the user's contact database. It stores business lead information which helps eliminate the re-keying of contact information when a prospect becomes a client and increases cross-selling abilities.
Included in TQSPlus at no additional cost is Video Bytes, a new CD-ROM-based training program developed by New Vision Productions, a company with more than fifteen years' mortgage lending and educating experience. Video Bytes offers a clear curriculum which will enable users to maximize the TQSPlus system and everything it has to offer, leading to enhanced software productivity.
TQS AU-Express is an automated underwriting tool and interface component that was developed in conjunction with Freddie Mac. The service allows access to Freddie Mac's Loan Prospector on the Internet, providing originators with on-line help and highly detailed feedback. By accessing credit information directly from the repositories via Loan Prospector on the Internet, mortgage originators -- including brokers and correspondents -- and lenders can receive credit data and an automated underwriting decision in a single process.
"TQSPlus 4.0 was designed to offer users innovative tools in a user-friendly format," said Dale Eisenhart, president of Byte Enterprises. "The addition of TQS Market Manager, Video Bytes and TQS AU-Express offer new, versatile options that together form the most extensive mortgage origination system on the market."
