Component-Based Development and eData Expertise Will Help Develop
Strong Link Between IT Efforts and Corporate Business Objectives
Princeton Softech, a subsidiary of Computer Horizons Corp. (Nasdaq:CHRZ), today named Joseph Boiseau as Vice President, North American Services. Boiseau brings more than 28 years of information technology consulting experience to Princeton Softech. Prior to joining Princeton Softech, Boiseau founded and was Chief Executive Officer of Computers at Work, Ltd., a field automation company. Previously, he was Executive Vice President of Medco Containment Services, the nation's largest managed care prescription company, which had revenues of approximately $1B, and President of its Medco Group. Boiseau will launch Princeton Softech's North American IT consulting organization to deliver training and mentoring services that help customers move at Internet speed to design, develop, test and deploy eBusiness solutions quickly and easily for a maximum return on their investment. He will report to Joe Allegra, Princeton Softech's president.
"We are very fortunate to add Joe to our senior management team," affirms Allegra. "It takes more than great products, superior technology and outstanding support to help companies succeed in today's highly competitive eWorld. Our experience with Princeton Softech's Component-Based Development consulting services has demonstrated how expert advice and assistance in the early stages of a project results in innovative eBusiness solutions that are delivered on time and within budget. Ultimately, Princeton Softech's consultants enable our enterprise customers to derive increased benefits from a broader and more detailed understanding of application development methodology and how it can effectively be applied to their eBusiness infrastructure and corporate data models."
Under Boiseau's leadership, Princeton Softech's North American services organization will add high-level product mentoring to its existing training services, thereby smoothing the transition from the classroom environment to the real world of application development. As companies adopt component-based development and embark on enterprise-scale web-based projects, Princeton Softech's IT consultants will ensure the correct application of Princeton Softech's component-based development and eData management tools.
"Princeton Softech's consultants smoothed our transition to component-based development," explains Carole Thunstrom, Project Manager R&D Nacka (Sweden), Scala Business Solutions, a leading provider of world-class global E-Commerce and business management solutions. "By teaching us the skills and methodology that enable us to deliver component-based solutions, and helping us apply both the methodology and the tools to our specific projects, Princeton Softech has substantially reduced our learning curve. As a result, we've realized the benefits of component-based development, which are decreased development cycle time and cost and increased productivity of our IT staff, much more quickly than we would have without Princeton Softech's mentoring and training."
According to Boiseau: "We intend to work closely with clients to enable a smooth and seamless integration of our products within the customer's environment. Our consultants can help clients use Princeton Softech's products to exploit new business opportunities, improve customer service, strengthen sales and distribution, and streamline internal business processes. Together with Computer Horizon's eSolutions group, we can offer comprehensive eBusiness services."
Prior to Boiseau's five-year tenure as president of The Medco Group, he was president of Computer Sciences Corporation's subsidiary, Paid Prescriptions, Inc., which had revenues of approximately $27M. Paid Prescriptions provided services to the pharmaceutical industry. Boiseau engineered the sale of Paid Prescriptions to Porex Technologies, where it was merged with National Pharmacies to form Medco Containment Services, Inc.
