White Electronic Designs Launches Leading Edge Processor Family For ISPs; Potential $5mil Over Next Two Years

(AMEX: WHT) White Electronic Designs Corporation today announced that it has been awarded over a dozen design wins for a new multichip product. This is the first of a new family of products that combine processor and memory functions into one module. The first member of this new family combines a PowerPC 750 RISC processor with Synchronous L2 cache in a multichip module. These products provide superior high speed processing performance and optimum memory density, reducing the amount of board space by 60% over current designs. This leading edge design utilizes state-of-the-art flip-chip technology and is targeted at embedded control applications such as the subscriber packets used by Internet Service Providers (ISP's).
