SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct 18, 1999--
TollBridge Technologies, developer of multiline voice-over-broadband solutions (such as DSL) for Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLECs), today announced the appointment of Bob Yundt as vice president of business development.
Yundt has experience creating joint ventures and co-marketing alliances for broadband data, wireless, and wireline telephony applications and will be responsible for leveraging TollBridge's current and future relationships to speed deployment of the company's IP-based multiline voice solutions. Yundt will report to Gary Tauss, president and CEO of Tollbridge Technologies.
"CLECs want integrated voice and data solutions that give them a competitive edge and lower operational costs," said Tauss. "Yundt's experience with business development in the telecom industry is invaluable as TollBridge continues to establish relationships with CLECs, creating new business opportunities and distribution channels."
"I saw in TollBridge a tremendous opportunity to take a company with an exciting product into a market that is demanding voice and data integrated solutions," said Yundt. "TollBridge's IP-based solutions not only meet today's demand, they also enable CLECs to migrate their services and networks to the next generation of IP-based equipment."
Before joining TollBridge, Yundt served as vice president of marketing and business development for Astrolink, GTE Wireless, NextWave Telecom, and GTE Spacenet, where he was responsible for creating new distribution channels and securing financing. Yundt also held executive positions with MCI, augmenting its core business with data communications and information service businesses.
Yundt holds a BS in computer science from the University of Massachusetts, and an MS (combined MBA and operations research) from the University of California, Berkeley.
