SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--October 19, 1999--
Eli Lilly, John Deere Health, Penske Logistics, T. Rowe Price, and TECHMAR Communications Recognized at Business Objects User Conference
As the world economy transitions to e-business, the ability to manage the information explosion and communicate with employees, customers, and partners over the internet becomes absolutely critical. Successful companies today recognize this opportunity and are deploying innovative e-business intelligence (e-BI) solutions. These solutions represent the convergence of the internet and business intelligence, and allow people to access, analyze, and share information either within an enterprise via an intranet or beyond and enterprise via an extranet.
Today Business Objects presented the Business Objects Excellence Award to five of its customers who are capitalizing on the e-BI opportunity to gain competitive advantage, increase profits, and improve customer relationships. Eli Lilly and Company, John Deere Health, Penske Logistics, T. Rowe Price, and TECHMAR Communications were recognized at the 1999 Business Objects International User Conference in San Diego, California.
"Business Objects congratulates today's winners, who are innovative and visionary leaders in driving e-BI solutions," said Bernard Liautaud, president and chief executive officer of Business Objects. "We are very excited about the incredible momentum behind e-BI, and our customers from every industry who leverage our technology to do amazing things for their businesses."
