Productivity System Around The World

James M. Rossi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Solar Communications Group, Inc. today announced the appointment of Paul R. Hager as Senior Vice President of International Business.

"Paul has an exceptional background in international telecommunications infrastructure, product introduction in emerging markets and acquisition of venture capital," said Rossi. "Market reach beyond the United States is key to our goal to become an industry leader in terms of computing, commerce, telecommunications and Internet technology for travelers. With this being so critical to our success, I'm extremely pleased to have an executive of Paul's caliber on board."

Most recently, Hager has concurrently served as a co-founder and Senior Partner of two Baltimore-based consulting companies, The Venture Group and The Bolton Group, LLC. Hager helped to found The Venture Group, a management consulting firm focusing on international business structures/strategies, in 1992 with three of his Wharton School MBA classmates. With The Bolton Group LLC, Hager specialized in designing and implementing urban real estate investment syndications.

Prior to starting these two consulting firms, Hager served for eight years as the Special Assistant to the Director of the National Security Agency where he directed a staff of over 2,000 in research and capital investment activities related to international telecommunications infrastructure, including the analysis of international Information Technology needs and capabilities.

Hager's governmental and consulting accomplishments are substantial. During his career, he has secured over $100 million in venture capital for start-up companies, played a key role in the design and negotiation of a $300 million international technology development program, and wrote a decisive business plan for a Fortune 500 company that led to its entry into the lucrative Chinese market.

Hager's academic accomplishments are equally impressive. He holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of Business, an MPA from Harvard University, as well as cum laude Bachelor's Degrees in both Mathematics/Computer Science and Psychology from the University of North Carolina.

In his new role, Hager will develop management offices in four regions around the world: Europe, Asia, Middle East & Africa and South & Central America in an effort to provide PCRoomLink to both Americans traveling in those regions as well as to businesspeople operating within those markets.

"While telecommunications is rather advanced in the United States, we created PCRoomLink because no one was utilizing tools like the advances in the Internet and network systems to make business travel easier and more productive," said Rossi. "Around the world and particularly in emerging markets, telecommunications infrastructure is not so advanced, so there's even more demand for services that assist business travelers. We have no doubt that PCRoomLink will be just as well received around the world as it has been here in the US."
