Sagent Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: SGNT), a leading solution provider of e-business analytic applications, today announced the appointment of Vincent De Gennaro to the position of senior vice president of worldwide sales. He is responsible for worldwide sales through direct, distributor, reseller and OEM channels as well as the sales operations to support those channels.
De Gennaro has a highly successful track record of leading sales organizations to sell powerful solutions to Global 2000 enterprises. His relationship with Sagent began two years ago with his founding of Sagent UK, acquired by Sagent Technology earlier this year. In this capacity, he has exceeded sales and marketing expectations by securing high profile customers including British Telecom, Johnson & Johnson, Nationwide and British Petroleum.

Prior to Sagent, he served as Vice President Europe, Middle East and Africa of Pilot Software, a subsidiary of Dun and Bradstreet and Vice President for Informix Software. He also served as Vice President of Northern European Sales and Business Development at Sybase.
