PSC Appoints Senior Vice President, Global Sales

PSC Inc. (Nasdaq: PSCX), a global leader in the manufacture and marketing of bar code scanning and automatic identification solutions, today announced the appointment of Lloyd West as Senior Vice President, Global Sales Operations, effective October 19, 1999.

West joins PSC from Tektronix, Inc., where he most recently served as Vice President Americas/ Japan Operations and International Business Development for the $725 million Color Printing and Imaging Division (CPID). Previously, West held executive positions at CPID as VP / General Manager of European Operations, VP International Business Development, VP of U.S. Sales, and International Marketing Director.

He also serves on the Global Advisory Board for Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management.

West is a graduate of Oregon State University, with a B.S. degree with an emphasis in Business and Mathematics, followed by an M.B.A. degree from the University of Oregon. He resides with his wife and children in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and will be based in the Portland Metropolitan area.
