CAMARILLO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 4, 1999--
Facility Information Systems Inc. today announced the opening of new offices in the Washington, D.C. corridor as well as new headquarters on the West Coast, halfway between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.
"Ever since the Public Building Service of the U.S. General Services Administration chose FIS and Oracle software as its de facto standard for facility management, a Washington-based office was inevitable," said Bruce Hanna, FIS Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Heading the new D.C. office will be FIS Inc.'s new VP of Sales, Curtis G. Mason. Hanna added: "FIS is fortunate to add Curt to our executive team. He brings fifteen years of outstanding success providing enterprise software solutions to commercial and government sector constituents."

Mason previously served as vice president of Sales & Marketing for Henninger Media Services, Tartan, and Media Cybernetics.
Bob Trotter, Oracle Corporation's National Director of Facilities Information Management Solutions added: "There is remarkable synergy between our two companies. Considering Oracle Service Industries is centered in Reston, having an FIS executive nearby will strengthen our day-to-day working relationship."
FIS feels an executive presence in the East is important to provide full service to Federal clients and corporate customers with headquarters in the east.
On the West Coast, FIS Inc. moved into its new Camarillo building Oct. 1. "Our new headquarters fits the Silicon Valley high tech model," said FIS CEO Chuck Woznick. "We've quadrupled our workspace to keep up with growth. Over the past several months we've added talented staff across the board. It's an exciting time for FIS."
Notable additions are great new training facilities, conference rooms and enough office space to more than double the current workforce to meet growing demand.
