Starfest Stars On Playboy's Worldwide Website

Business Wire, Oct 5, 1999

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 5, 1999--

Playboy Magazine has been the benchmark for adult entertainment since its inception. Now, Playboy-on-line leaps forward by bringing its hip, young affluent readers instant information about their second favorite subject - money!

In its lead article, Wall Street Gets Lucky by sexpert Laura Victoria, Starfest, Inc. (OTC BB: SFST), an adult entertainment stock publicly traded on the OTC Bulletin Board, was prominently featured, highlighted by interviews with Starfest's President and CEO, Michael Huemmer.

"The idea was to reach a target audience of young, bright active participants in the new economy, one that features Internet use," said article writer Laura Victoria. "It made more sense to place this article in the On-line Playboy than in print. Web articles have the advantage and the reputation of being up to date. Few investors will take a stock tip from a glossy magazine that went to print two or three months ago. Even their daily newspapers tend to be one day too slow!"

The emphasis of the article, "Wall Street Gets Lucky: Using Your Mouse to Become a Millionaire" on www.playboy.com/sex was to point out how low-priced adult stocks will soon be the shooting stars of smart investors. Adult-site Internet use dominates the web. This places Starfest, a new low-priced stock, in an enviable position. "Playboy magazine has always represented quality," said Huemmer, "and its web site follows suit. It is more dynamic to our company to be part of a feature article on the magazine's Internet web site than in the magazine; this is where most of our clientele would get their news. Our members shop on the Internet, get their news on the Internet, invest on the Internet and look for quality adult entertainment on the Internet.

"Millions of people internationally read Playboy online. Many of them will come to starfest.com to check us out," said Huemmer. "This is how you build a community; this is how you build a strong membership. We believe they will discover what our present members already know - that they can rely on Starfest to represent only the finest quality products available.

"Our shareholders are no different," added Huemmer. "They understand that starfest.com is in a building mode, developing a quality, interactive, Internet web site for millions of future members. We expect our members to stay with us month after month. We expect new members to join day after day."
