Stonebridge Extends ERP System At BP Amoco; Oilfield Giant Sharpens Complex Decisions With New XERP Solution
Business Wire, Oct 5, 1999
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 5, 1999--
Stonebridge Technologies Inc., a leading e-business solutions consulting firm, Tuesday announced completion of an engagement with BP Amoco -- one of the world's largest oil and gas companies -- to extend its Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) system.
The Stonebridge enhancement extracts critical oilfield information from the existing SAP-based ERP system, combines it with complex data from legacy exploration and production (E&P) systems and delivers results to decision makers throughout BP Amoco's vast E&P organization. Stonebridge extended the existing ERP solution -- a complex assignment -- in only 90 days from planning to full deployment.
