New Winter Schedule Starts Oct. 31; China Southern Airlines to Expand Trans-Pacific Service with New Monday Flight

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 6, 1999--

Carrier to Offer 4th Weekly Roundtrip Boeing 777 Service

China Southern Airlines (NYSE:ZNH)(HKSE:1055), the largest airline in The People's Republic of China, announced its new Winter 1999/Spring 2000 schedule on its trans-Pacific service between China and the United States, starting Oct. 31, 1999, with a new Monday evening flight effective Dec. 6.

The announcement was made by Wei Jia Liao, general manager, China Southern Airlines.

Currently, China Southern Airlines offers three weekly nonstop trans-Pacific Boeing 777 flights between Los Angeles and Guangzhou, China.

Starting Oct. 31 through March 24, 2000, China Southern Airlines' trans-Pacific schedule will be as follows: CZ328 from Los Angeles will depart at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, arriving in Guangzhou at 6:20 a.m. the third day. The departing Guangzhou flight CZ327 will leave China at 8:40 p.m. every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evening and arrive in Los Angeles at 5:30 p.m. the same day.

The new Monday service, effective Dec. 6, will follow the same schedule.
