Atlantic Tele-Network, Inc. Announces Quarterly Dividend of 15 Cents Per Share

ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 9, 1999--

Atlantic Tele-Network, Inc. (AMEX:ANK), announced that its Board of Directors today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.15 per share payable on October 7, 1999 on all its common shares outstanding to shareholders of record as of September 30, 1999.

Atlantic Tele-Network, Inc. is a telecommunications company with headquarters in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Its principal subsidiary, Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company Limited, is the national telephone service provider in the Cooperative Republic of Guyana for all local, long-distance and international service. ATN also owns a 75% interest in Digicom S.A., which provides dispatch radio, wireless data network and paging services in Haiti, and owns 30% of Bermuda Digital Communications Ltd., which operates under the name "Cellular One" and is the sole cellular and PCS competitor to the Bermuda Telephone Company.
