Business Wire, Sept 14, 1999
ATLANTA--(BW HealthWire)--Sept. 14, 1999--
Landacorp (Landa Management Systems Corporation) today announced that North Kansas City Hospital has contracted to implement the Maxsys II medical management software in their North Kansas City, Mo. facility.
They will be using the Maxsys II modules for Case and Utilization Management, Quality Management, Risk Management, and Infection Control. They also have contracted to implement Landacorp's Clinical Criteria Builder and rules-based processing functionality.
North Kansas City Hospital is a 350-bed acute-care, not-for-profit facility located in the heart of Northwest Missouri. Their 40-year history demonstrates a commitment to creating and maintaining an environment where exceptional quality health care services are achieved and recognized.
"North Kansas City Hospital joins a growing list of users of Landacorp's original DOS-based Maxsys product who are now enjoying the added benefits of Maxsys II," said Gene Cattarina, Landacorp's President and CEO. "Their migration to the Windows(tm)-based functionality of Maxsys II bears out the fact that facilities need a comprehensive system to coordinate their delivery of health care in today's competitive market. Maxsys II will provide North Kansas City, and facilities like it, with powerful workflow tools that can have a profound impact on the entire medical management process while generating tangible, specific returns on investment in a very short period of time."
