The Invisible Worlds SpaceKit Viewer; Advanced Visual Interface by Danny Goodman and Rebecca Pranger

Business Wire, Sept 16, 1999

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 16, 1999--

Invisible Worlds' EDGARSpace portal, launched today, includes the SpaceKit(TM) viewer, an advanced JavaScript-based visual interface developed by scripting and programming guru Danny Goodman and Invisible Worlds' award-winning Creative Director Rebecca Pranger.

"The power of Invisible Worlds' SpaceServer(TM) engine creates an opportunity to create highly interactive and robust client applications such as the SpaceKit viewer," Goodman said. "The SpaceServer provides rich enough data to allow users to manage and re-use complex searches easily."

Using a map metaphor, the SpaceKit viewer allows users to see relationships that are invisible in ordinary search results lists. For example, a large set of documents can be organized into a map by industry sector, company name, form type or other criteria available from the SpaceServer engine. Irrelevant information can be deleted, important information can be labeled, and the map can be saved for later recall. When the user retrieves the map, the query is refreshed with all of the sorting, labeling, and other manipulation of the map that the user chose.

Users can see the SpaceKit viewer in action at http://invisible.net/, where they can also see extensive documentation on how it was built and participate in a forum for developers at http://mappa.mundi.net/forums/.> About the Developers
