Air Packaging Technologies Inc. in Compliance With BC Securities Commission Filing Requirements
Business Wire, Sept 21, 1999
VALENCIA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 21, 1999--
Air Packaging Technologies (OTC BB:AIRP) of Valencia, Calif., announced today that the Company was in compliance with the filing requirements of the British Columbia Securities Commission.
Janet Maxey, chief financial officer of the Company stated: "When we learned that the BC Securities Commission had placed the Company on a list of companies who were not in compliance with the periodic filing requirements of the Commission, I could not fathom why since we had filed all of the required information of a timely basis and in the same manner as always. After contacting the Commission, I learned that certain of the information which the Commission thought should have been filed was based on its erroneous belief that the Company's stock was still traded on the Vancouver Stock Exchange. The stock had not been traded on that exchange for over a year. The Commission also advised me that it was no longer accepting filings which were scanned from hard copy before electronic transmission. The Company had never received any notice of this change", Ms. Maxey continued, "so we had filed as we always had filed. The problem was immediately corrected by refiling using the method now required by the Commission."
