Kana Communications, Inc. Announces Increase in Proposed Price Range for Initial Public Offering

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 21, 1999--
Kana Communications, Inc. announced today that it increased the proposed price range of its shares of common stock to be sold in its initial public offering.
It is currently anticipated that the shares will be offered at a price of $14.00 to $15.00 per share. The previous estimate of the initial public offering range price had been $11.00 to $13.00 per share.
A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective. These securities may not be sold nor may offers to buy be accepted prior to the time the registration statement becomes effective.
