Saraide and EDS Join Forces to Provide Internet-Based Wireless Data Services to Carriers Worldwide

EDS to support Saraide's global operational infrastructure that links "any device" with "any content source" via "any network."
Saraide, a world leader in the delivery of Internet-based services to wireless devices, and EDS, a leader in global information technology services, today announced that the companies have teamed to facilitate the global delivery of Saraide's wireless data services.
Saraide provides Internet-based wireless data services to carriers in North America, Europe and Asia, including Microcell, Omnitel, KPN, KDP and diAx. Wireless subscribers receive customized, time-sensitive, location-based
information services such as e-mail, news updates, stock quotes, travel information, calendars, contact lists, personal banking and electronic commerce. This information can be delivered to any mobile device, over any air interface, including GSM, CDMA, FLEX, GPRS, and TDMA.
EDS will apply its comprehensive life-cycle services to deploy and support the operational architecture for the global delivery of Saraide's wireless data services. This agreement with EDS, which serves clients in 50 countries, allows Saraide to provide its wireless carrier customers throughout the world with faster time to market for their services, exceptional reliability, and world-renowned international operational systems management.
