Realm Production and Entertainment, Inc. (OTCBB:RMPED) ("Realm") announced today that its Board of Directors declared that the record date for determining those record holders of the issued and outstanding shares of Realm's common stock who will participate in the anticipated publicly registered spin-off of VidKid Distribution, Inc. ("VidKid"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Realm, will be as of the close of business on September 29, 1999 (the "Record Date").

For each share of common stock of of Realm held on the Record Date, the holder will receive one share of common stock of VidKid.
