Rosemount Analytical, Uniloc Division, continues to improve its industry-proven toroidal conductivity sensor line with the Tefzel(1) Model 228 Submersion/Insertion Sensor.

The combination of the Tefzel housing and robust single-body construction offers unrivaled durability to ensure long-lasting, accurate conductivity measurement in the harshest industrial processes -- from metal plating to chemical and hydrocarbon processing.

The Model 228 torodial sensor is the lowest cost choice for hard-to-measure processes. Torodial (inductive) technology is unaffected by sensor-coating substances, such as oil or carbonates, flow rates and direction of flow, therefore the need for routine maintenance is eliminated. Due to its superior chemical resistance, Tefzel is the material of choice for processes containing concentrated strong acids, alcohols, and aldehydes. In addition, the Model 228 is capable of measuring from 0-2,000,000 microseimens/cm. One sensor can answer all your conductivity process requirements.

The compact design of the Model 228 allows for insertion into small process lines down to 1-1/2 inches. Other types of mounting configurations, materials (PEEK and Polypropylene) and designs are also available in our 200 Series torodial conductivity sensor line, such as flow through and sanitary designs.
