Millbrook Paradigm Version 4.1 Offers Enhancements in
Electronic Processes for Claims, Statements and Remittance
Millbrook Corporation today introduced Millbrook Paradigm(TM) v4.1, the latest version of its award winning medical practice management software, which provides enhancements in electronic processing to increase flexibility, reduce claim-to-payment turnaround time and decrease paperwork and staff time.
Demonstrations of Millbrook Paradigm are being held during HIMSS Annual Conference in Dallas at the Millbrook Paradigm booth No. 2531, and in the Microsoft Pavilion.
Millbrook Paradigm 4.1 includes significant enhancements related to electronic processes for the transmission of claims, statements, and remittance processing. No longer locked into one national clearinghouse format, practices now have the flexibility to add custom electronic claims formats for transmission directly to any payer or local clearinghouses. Changes to the electronic format do not require a product upgrade, and result in faster response time to new or revised EDI requirements by payers and clearinghouses. In addition, the new version offers the functionality of electronic eligibility and the ability to add custom visit approval processes prior to claim submission.
The new version also provides the ability to view electronically submitted data, including a detailed submission history for all claims. This function enables practices to easily identify, correct and re-file problem claims, reducing the claim-to-payment turnaround time.
Millbrook Paradigm 4.1 also features the option to create template electronic statements or custom formats for electronic statement vendors to reduce paperwork, postage costs and eliminate time spent folding and envelope stuffing.
According to Millbrook Vice President of Operations and Chief Technology Officer Neil Simon, "Millbrook Paradigm 4.1 provides important enhancements in electronic processing to even more fully automate practices. The new payment posting features and the ability to make adjustments, file secondary claims, and transfer balances to the patient automatically, along with enhancements in electronic claims and statements, enable practices to reduce staff costs, expedite data entry and accelerate claim-to-payment turnaround. Millbrook Paradigm is a flexible and powerful practice management system that provides physicians the best software tools necessary to run their practice."
Since 1993, Millbrook Paradigm has been the practice management solution of choice for thousands of physicians. It has been designed to be regulatory compliant using true client/server technology, and is also Microsoft BackOffice certified. Millbrook Paradigm was selected as the best medical practice management system running on Windows NT and SQL Server in 1997, 1998 and again in 1999 by MS-HUG. Millbrook is the only company to have received this prestigious award for three consecutive years. In 1999, Microsoft named Millbrook Corporation as one of the fastest growing ISVs (independent software vendors) for Windows out of 10,000 companies evaluated for this prestigious honor. Millbrook is the top ranking healthcare software company.
Millbrook Paradigm was built from the ground up exclusively on the Microsoft Windows NT/2000 operating system with SQL Server. This means physician organizations can quickly and affordably upgrade to the fastest, most flexible and easiest to use computing environment in the healthcare industry. Millbrook's installed base includes small and large physician groups, ambulatory surgical centers, single-site and multi-site practices and multi-specialty organizations of all types and sizes.
Millbrook Corporation is privately held and based in the Dallas suburb of Carrollton, Texas. Millbrook is committed to solving customer problems and increasing productivity in physicians' offices through technological innovation.
