News Digital Media Forms Strategic Alliances Group; Claire Kunz Named Vice President of New Unit

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 11, 2000

News Digital Media, producer of FOX.com, FOXSports.com, FOXNews.com, FOXMarketwire.com and the digital unit of News Corporation, today announced the formation of a Strategic Alliances group lead by newly named Vice President, Claire Kunz. The announcement was made by Jon Richmond, President of News Digital Media, to whom Kunz will report.

The Strategic Alliances group will be responsible for leveraging News Digital's relationships, partnerships and investments to create additional exposure and opportunities for the company and its partners. The new unit is also charged with broadening News Digital's relationships within News Corporation, as well as investigating potential partners for relationships that would benefit the company. The Strategic Alliances group will enable News Digital Media to extend its current assets and explore opportunities for growth in emerging areas.

Prior to her new role, Kunz was the Director of Sales Development for News Digital Media. In her two years with the company, Kunz developed and oversaw the sales development, traffic, broadband sales and promotions departments, as well as managed the first-ever advertising partnership in FOX's broadband properties. Kunz was also responsible for the successful development of cross-promotional programs between News Digital and the sister-broadcast brands. Before joining News Digital Media, Kunz held the position of Marketing Supervisor for USA Today, where she spent four years planning and implementing marketing programs for technology and automotive categories. Kunz began her career as a marketing coordinator at Westinghouse. Ms. Kunz is a graduate of Villanova University.
